Designs inspired by Berserk?

Just curious, i had this "berserkey" feeling while looking at some of the monster designs (which is a good thing ´cause Berserk is awesome!). Especially the huge troll from the first videos.

This would also explain some of the similarities to Dark Souls, which was also based of Berserk.

What the heck does Dark Souls have to do with this game? There were RPGs like this way before Dark Souls and Demons Souls. Why not start comparing Skyrim to King's Field while you're at it?

Actually, all i wanted to know was if the devs read Berserk before making the game because it looks that way it does. I only mentioned Dark Souls because it was explicitly inspired by Berserks story and art and also has a similar style.

Yes it was.

I would like to inform you that these are references, and it's not the same thing as based off of. It was based off of Demon Soul's like the other person stated, but it was INSPIRED or REFERENCED Beserek or instead of referenced we can say they put in easter eggs. Just wanted to point that out for you.
