Where is the CD key?

I don't know where the CD key is located. It doesn't give me an option to view it when I right click on the software in steam. Anybody have any ideas of where I might look?

Go to the store page. It will show you the CD Key on the right of the screen. The far right that is. Don't bother copying to the clip board, you will need to write it down and enter it by hand when the software requests it.

Just an update. I finally got my copy of the game and a license key is not required for this version of the software. It's automatic activation.

I requested a CD Key thourgh customer service and they gave me one but when I tried to go through the installation process again it still would not let me complete the process. I figured out the problem was that when it asks for your information (your name and city) you have to enter at least six characters in the box. Because my first name is shorter than six characters it didn't meet this requirement and wouldn't let me proceed. It took me a while to figure out. Thanks for all your help LittleBear!

how can I fix my copy of mavis beacon typing. It asks for a cd key every time I launch it. I have reinstalled it several times. thanks,
