I dunno my typing skill improved twice over when my typing actually had some use.
Like typing a silly story to get the chainsaw man to stop trying to chainsaw my face.
Mavis Beacon just gives you some points and tells you thats fine with a pat on the back.
Some encouragement there.
I will say it does get very technical and detailed about typing technique but its way of practicing is extreamly weak in my view.
Least when they say its a game and put a car on the screen when you are just copying a paragraph on the screen.
Why even add the car on screen? Why lie about it?
Now if I had to type in order to repair the breaks of a car while it rolls down a steep incline or toward a cliff that might be a little better.
@Bean
Agreed, though I'd prefer a Robot Apocolypse pack just to be different.
You know, I'd love to interview the developers of Mavis Beacon just to hear what their thoughts on ToTD is.
