BUT, if they add that mechanic, it should only be a small extra step for thin walls.
What do you mean by this? Just curious.
There ARE walls that you can shoot through. Thin Sheet metal? Yeah, you can shoot through those. Abeit, with a damage reduction.
I dunno what to feel about shootable glass. tbh, I don't really give too much about it.
I don't think it's an extreme, if there's already walls that can be shot through, why can't they just apply that same mechanic to glass? Because glass obstructs many shots on certain maps.
You can shoot through parts of glass that exist from broken windows that's still standing in its frame.
You can shoot through sheet metal, wooden signs, and tons of other ♥♥♥♥.
Heres what actually needs to be enacted:
If you make a hit behind thin cover then you dont see damage, its because in real life you wouldnt be able to confirm the hits. If a teamate is nearby/can see - then your hits are shown to you and they are boxed in red as normal spotted enemies are.
