Game won't Start (Launcher problem) [FIXED]

well in some disscussion about Launcher problem like after you click play and nothing happened, in support you must to update your windows update SP1. and some people redownload again because of verify of integrity of game chache.

but after 3 days I tried to fixed it, I found the solution. All you must to do is change the Launcher of compatibility mode into Windows XP servise pack 3 and it doesn't need to update your windows update

first in steam click the Library on Top Left and in your game (Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Phantoms) click right - properties - in Local files Tab, Browse Local Files. in Launcher Icon - Click right again - then properties - in compatibility mode run into Windows XP servise pack 3 and also run as administrator

after that, in steam, try to click play, wait and launcher appear, login and Enjoy the game

try changing the compatibility of "GhostReconPhantoms.exe" into Windows XP SP3
Browse Local Files - click game folder - NCSA-Live folder - right click "GhostReconPhantoms.exe" and change the compatibility

does anyone know why when i try to start the game, ( it worked before ) steam tells me that the app is already running; but when i look through task manager and on my desktop there is nothing there. i tried restarting steam but it didnt work. help please.

Kill the launcher in the systray[static2.cdn.ubi.com]. Otherwise look for Launcher.exe or LauncherReporter.exe in your Task Manager.

So, I've tried to do this before it still doesn't want to work. Been trying to contact support, but they opperate on completely different hours than myslef. (Ex. My noon is like their 5pm.)

One thing I note is that my .exe is not in the NCSA folder. It is instead located in the "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Phantoms" folder found in the steam common section.

There is no file named GhostReconPhantoms.exe on my computer. As well, there is no NCSA folder. Followed all the steps above as I always have to do with a Steam game, but still not launching.

Found a fix , just delete all content inside My Documents/Willdlands . Works fine now
