Game sold to Valve for revamp?

Heard somewhere that this game got sold to valve for a little revamp... not sure even what that means, could someone tell me if there's any legitimacy to that statement, and what that will mean. heard an update is happening in june.....

He's not talking about Steam,is about GRP,which is ubisoft property,and no,I dont think that would happen.The game is going to be closed for good,they made enough money for 5 lifetimes with it,now is time to go adn leave al the player base alone ;)
