Looking right, you should see a serpent ruin nearby, hidden in the side of 2 mounatins with a bridge between them.
Looking left, you see a mountain with a tower shaped serpent ruin on its south side, a Forest and Ore deposit on top.
For the 3rd one. The north of the desert continent has a big bay of water, go to the middle of that and look west. You should see the serpent ruin against a cliffside on the coast.
Those are the towers I've found too. Thought it was strange only 2 of them appear on the map after finding them.
Just went back to make sure, and all 3 say Ruin Explored and yet I only have 2 of the 3 needed keys.
I'm guessing maybe I found the one tower before I got the quest. Idk
It is of course easy to argue that the search area circle is far too large, covering the entire peninsula and the bay. But putting the bay into the circle is also a hint to go there - and perhaps catch a glimpse of the bayside serpent ruin.
Except that the bayside serpent ruin is different from the other two. The two southwest ruins have this green glow at night, which makes them stand out. The eastern bayside ruin does not and is easily overlooked. I spent so much time trying to complete a pattern with the glow that did not actually exist.
So please developers: either make the bayside serpent ruin glow as well, which would combine very well with the hint to look from the bay. Or shrink this ridiculously large search circle. Perhaps shrink it gradually when finding serpent ruins.
