⚠️Guide for optimal account linking process *Read first*⚠️
Note: This is not an officially confirmed solution, but rather steps tested by myself and by some friends i guided thru the linking process with perfect, smooth results. This is aimed for players that want to link their Smite 1 and Smite 2 accounts, but brings useful insight in general.

Before proceeding to link your Smite 1 and Smite 2 accounts, there are some steps that you should take that might possibly help avoid issues with the linking process. Follow the steps in order:

Install/run Smite 1 first and login with your main account. This is important to make sure your account is in an “active state” thru a recent login. Close the game.

Install/run Smite 2 for the same purpose. This will establish your account registered in this game. Close the game. If you are having any technical issue running Smite 2, please refer first to the troubleshooting compilation post:

https://steamcommunity.com/app/2437170/discussions/0/594013679434918357/

Once both games were opened in your main platform for each, it’s time to proceed to the official linking websites:

https://my.hirezstudios.com/linked-accounts (you will need to login with your hi-rez account)

Make sure that your main platform is linked. Take the opportunity to also link your Twitch account for future Twitch Drops, if you have one. Avoid linking other accounts for now.

Next, proceed to the official Smite 2 linking website:

https://link.smite2.com/

Once there, please link your main Smite 2 platform account. Avoid linking other accounts, besides your main and Twitch first.

At this point you should have properly linked both your Smite 1 and 2 accounts. Now it is time to proceed with the Smite 1 Divine Legacy linking if you haven‘t done it yet.

Now, open Smite 1 again. On the main menu, click on Divine Legacy. On the next screen you will see the Divine Legacy linking button on green at the mid right of the screen, click on that. Next, you should see a screen showing your Smite 1 username on the left, and your Smite 2 username on the right. Make sure that both are correct.

The final step is to HOLD the green button below to link both accounts. A bar will start to fill (you can release the click/button to cancel before it finishes filling), noting a message saying that this can’t be undone. Once the bar fills completely, the linking process has completed.

Again this is not an officially provided solution, but it has been tested on several accounts with perfect results.

I hope this helps you with this process. Good luck!

I was one of the friends Ferocious here personally helped with the linking process. I highly recommend following this step-by-step guide in order to avoid hours of nightmarish troubleshooting down the line; it really is worth the effort. Thanks again for your support.
I logged in my smite 1 account with a prompt showing 100K+ legacy gems. Went to the Divine legacy page but there is a green check mark under link smite and smite 2 account...

my skins got transfered but not the gems...

Is there any way to contact support?

It is a known bug from inside their system that happens to a handful of players. Make a standalone post about the issue, devs check the forums and help players fix it.

Currently having trouble! My accounts are linked and I have my legacy gems. However, I bought the founders edition for Smite 2 back in April but all of the Gods are locked. Please Help :p
If I am banned on smite 1 can i still transfer my stuff over?

I did everything correct but my skins did not transfer from smite one to smite two. Are the skins supposed to transfer? I did notice the gods show up as they become available but without the skins I had previously purchased. Am I supposed to use the green gems to repurchase the skins? The previous Mastery I had on the gods is also gone, is that normal?

AI answered my questions lol ---
Smite 2 is a fresh start in many ways, and unfortunately, most skins from Smite 1 do not transfer over automatically. However, some cross-gen skins released in Smite 1's final year do carry over.

As for your green gems, those are likely Legacy Gems, which allow you to get a 50% discount on most purchases in Smite 2. Every gem you acquired in Smite 1—whether purchased or earned—has been converted into Legacy Gems for use in Smite 21.

Regarding Mastery, it does not carry over either but Smite 2 offers Divine Legacy rewards based on your past achievements, including skins and badges to showcase your progress.

It’s definitely a big shift, but the developers have introduced these systems to help long-time players transition. Let me know if you want more details! -----

Also, if you click on each god in smite two and go to the mastery tab free items can be claimed there as the character is leveled up again.
I tried to follow your tutorial but Hi Rez is a joke. I tried to link my hi rez account (wich was already linked years ago but now is not for a misterious reason) and now it says " Something went wrong. Please try again". I'm out
