Losing all progression.
So, just typical Hi-Rez cash grab. Gotcha. Cheers then.
Similar conversion to what a lot of companies do. Overwatch 1 to Overwatch 2.
2. Graphical upgrade
3. Lots of gods will have reworked animations, improved visuals, cloth physics, minor reworks etc
4. Better and reworked sound design with new music
5. Reworked UI
6. There is no physical and magical anymore. Now there is Strength and Intelligence instead. And big difference compared to Smite 1 is that now you will be able to buy both Strength and Intelligence on every god. Some gods scale more on Strength, some on Intelligence. No more items locked between physical/magical gods. Meaning you will be able to buy crit on Ymir for example.
7. Many items reworked and now it will be similar to League where instead of Going tier 1 > tier 2 > tier 3 item now you will combine items or something like that, I dont know how exacly League store works.
Smite 1 and 2 are using different engines.
Shame we didn't get to actually keep Overwatch
>All progress completly lost
>Old game will be shut down
AHAHAHHAAHAH ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HI-REZ AT IT AGAIN

"WILL MY SMITE 1 SKINS TRANSFER TO SMITE 2?
−
Most SMITE 1 content will not directly transfer to SMITE 2, but SMITE players will be rewarded for their time, money, and achievements through two new systems: Legacy Gems, and Divine Legacy. In addition, new skins added to SMITE 1 in Season 11, along with some limited other cross-gen skins, will transfer between the games (see below for more).
WHAT ARE LEGACY GEMS?
−
For every Gem that you've ever spent in SMITE 1 – free or purchased – you'll receive a Legacy Gem in SMITE 2. Legacy Gems can be used to pay for 50% of the price of most in-game purchases in SMITE 2 – so things like skins, Battle Passes, and events in SMITE 2 will be half-off until you spend all of your Legacy Gems.
If you purchase a SMITE Founder’s Edition, your Legacy Gems will be doubled. As SMITE 2’s currency is changing slightly from SMITE, this ensures that you will have equivalent purchasing power. (Equivalency based on Gems per dollar value when purchased at the $99.99 currency edition.) We’ll have more details to share about our Founder’s Editions soon"
