What does that mean? What does it actually give?

Ascension Passes are the all new progression system that reward you as you level up your God Masteries! We will have more information on these before they release in Summer 2024.

So if you don't have that you're weaker than other players? Probably a skip.

Its a new progression system, the pass giving you access to some more emotes, stat trackers for that god and some skins. Nothing pay 2 win. Unless you count the jealousy of a non pass owner as emotional damage.

even thu poster above me gave a good link just wanted to add " hero of the storm " had something like it as you level up the character you earn free chest and gold to buy new heroes the chest allowed you to earn skins and other minor items so this is smite version.



what people tend to forget every time they see $$$ is, you can PLAY FREE AND PAY NOTHING, what paying does give is fluff items and you help keep the game going. NOBODY CAN LIVE OFF OF ZERO MONEY,,,, that what people forget or don't care, when they keep going on about cost and perceived value.


the game will be update with changes for years, for free. the game will offer many event and free things for years. you can enjoy any god made free. MONEY SPENT, is for showing support and getting extra things.




I spent few hundred in HOTS that game is technically dead, zero new content. thu maybe if MS is nice it will get new content. this game will be updated for awhile, more support the longer it will be , MONEY EQUAL SUPORT, so if nobody say it worth it? no new content..... don't hate those that spend and help other get new content FREE, be happy you can spend ZERO and still play equal, the same game.

What's the problem with another option of paid customization? Stuff doesn't affect the game. You're really just hating for the sake of hating, such a depressing world-view.

saying it a new monetization method because that is what it is, is "hating" now apparently. . .

I didn't say it was good or bad. . .only that Hi-Rez seems to focus on monetization a lot.

You don't say, you are insinuating at a strong dislike for what they are doing.

And how are they focussed on monetization? this is the only system they've added. Next to removing another paid item entirely.
