Sorry, can't outscam those who signed an agreement without reading, you are the one of those people in real life who make contracts but don't read all the details and then ask question like why it's not like you expected it to be?
legacy gems do alot and its not our problem you havnt learned what they are for and do, go back to smite 1
thing is,only specific skins are being ported over, specifically season 11 skins, the most used skin per god, and probably the t5 skins are being ported over, every other skin might as well not exist, theres a post about it when i looked it up
people think they are only gonna port over the most used skins then be done when they can easily have classic skins section for a good amount of time, and sure the permanent 50% off new smite 2 skins is nothing /s that 1200 diamonds you see for smite 2 skins is cause you have legacy gems, make a new account without legacy gems and you will see they are 2400 diamonds, even at full price they are priced cheaper than smite 1 skins lmao only the tier 4 skins are slightly more but they are always in bundles anyways, so basically people are saying they want to go back to smite 1 cause its better where they get to spend more for a skin, yeh that sounds ridiculous when you say it that way, everything they did with smite 2 stuff is way better than what they did with smite 1 stuff but people gotta complain about something
legacy gems will get you any legacy skin from smite 1 which they have like 2 of them ported over cause they stopped making skins and porting skins to focus on moving gods over, who knows when they will start on moving skins over
Bro just chill for a moment. This is still BETA....let them put out more content and i bet you will have a store where u can spend the Legacy Gems on stuff.
And yea man, as others said, Hi-Rez gotta eat too, if there were only legacy gem trades, imagine all the streamers or rich kids that had 100K-200K-500K gems on Smite 1 coming on here buying everything for free cause they already paid once. Yea we all paid in past game, but we played it didn't we. New game new stuff, new prices.
Them adding the Legacy Gems and giving us the chance to get stuff for them in game, i think is cool of them.
Just be patient, good things will come your way :)
And keep your diamonds early game, you will miss out on the really nice skins they gonna put out in later updates and events.

Very understandable that they want to profit on a....remaster. But i'm not a bank nor an investment firm. If it's not a remaster, they aren't exactly selling that very well. So don't excuse it on that merit.
They should have released a new IP if they wanted to directly profit, or you know, charge me for unlocking all the gods, which is at least a somewhat fair proposal.
Especially with indy companies like GGG releasing the most massive game on steam that is still top 5 since early december, and ports all your old skins into a NEW GAME, with new skins coming for direct purchase, wow fair. With this supreme example in steams realm, they came up with this weak offering like no one would notice or care. Very very BAD timing haha
Yall can pretend people play this for the game, but after thousands of hours i can tell you, having the skins keeps you going. Changes up the same gameplay just a tiny bit, with just the right amount of distributed "fomo".
You could have attracted all the old vets who hung it up, ready with new money. But poor decisions will leave you sucking your thumb.
As it stands this game has less players than smite 1. POE 2 costs money for EA just like this game and there are more people playing it compared to part 1. SURPRISE, people want to invest.

Been playing since Smite 1 Beta and I agree with you, tons of legacy gems and what you can do with it? nothing unless you buy the new currency.
