Crash problem

Hi, I don't see anyone else talking about this so I'm just going to make this post. After the newest update Smite 2 has began to freezing my PC randomly after the game has been on for sometime (5-25 mins) I figured this was a bug that was going to be fixed soon. Until 1 week later my friend got the game too and he has the same problem.

The PC just freezes up and you cant do anything, only way to be freed from the crash is by holding down the power button. Please fix this quick, we cant play the game before this gets patched.

Before I get a whole bunch of comments about updating drivers or something, this only happens with smite 2 and I have tried every troubleshoot I came across

I'm getting this too. Bluescreen displays CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT as the culprit

Adding to this. Today is the first time that i have had this issue. Played two matches had a seemingly random pc freeze both times. had to hard reset my whole system. I have not played in a few days. So it has only happened for me on the current patch. I also tried changing my settings, but my pc should be more than capable of handling the game.

Commenting because same thing happens to me. Usually every other or third game, but happened twice in the same game once.

It has only been happening since CA8's release.

(Additional info: I'm using an Nvidia 3080)

Seems like it didn't work because i had the same problem right now after the patch. It's impossible to play if i have to restart my PC every game.

I am having the same issue :( I'll even just be in the menus and my whole system freezes, requiring me to hold the power button to shut off my pc.

I'm experiencing the same issue. For the past 4-5 days or so I've been playing SM2 ranked religiously for at least 4 each day. Roughly ever 1-2 hours of playing, my PC would freeze and a few seconds later the screen would turn black. After running various test on my PC software, stress test, Windows, GPU, and even CPU along with manually cleaning the dust out and the issue would reoccur within a few matches of my next play session. Key commands do not work when my PC freezes so i'm forced to Hard restart my PC.

Please make this bug a top priority, its ruining match by match game experience.


Side note: Annoyingly enough this problem happened to me three times in the 48min ranked match. This bug isn't even time gated but randomly reproduced some how.
