8 level mastery of god.

I reach 7 level mastery of god (cernunnos and kukulkan). I'm trying to reach level 8, but I don't get any experience. Is this a bug?

Nah it’s an actual bug since patch, some pvp matches do not reward worshipers

Exactly. It's just incomprehensible. Since you HAVE TO PAY for the Ascension Pass and it's only COSMETIC ITEMS, you should be able to unlock it in any mode. If it were like in Smite 1 that you get the gold and diamond skins for free for tens of thousands of games that are only 'vs Humans', that would be okay, but again: you had to pay for it and you can even earn the Battle Pass / Wandering Market EXP 'vs AI'. Just because someone has a god at level 10 doesn't mean that they have mastered it to perfection...

AI matches only gives you mastery until level 4, there is a bug that you get no mastery exp after a match, but is not in every match

I've gotten gods to 7 in AI games playing with my girlfriend. Don't tell anyone I guess so it doesn't get fixed lol.

It was changed from 4 to 7 earlier. 4 is just a UI oversight.

You do get stuck at 7 VS AI though.

Not like it's a big deal, it should only take a few games of PvP to get higher.

sorta bs as someone said its cosmetic and not everyone loves pvp like the drunk people who play pvp to hurt themselfs

i hope the devs change this or refund everyone who bought the pass

i mean id even understand it being locked behind your primary rank but you should be able to earn the last ranks on pve no matter what seeing its paided not free

besides that some people directly avoid pvp because of the stupidity of horid team mates and ♥♥♥♥♥ game designs at time to a point that some games get filled with cheaters

theres to many reasons to avoid pvp like the plauge
