Linking account to Steam instead of Smite 1

Hello,

When I launch Smite 2, the game instantly links to my Steam account rather than my Smite 1 account, which are separate. Is there a way I can link my Smite 1 account to my Smite 2 account? My Smite 1 account has all of my play time on it, while my Steam Smite 1 'account' has nothing.

Hope this makes sense. Please let me know if I can do anything. Thanks!

Smite 2 does away with the hi rez account. To link smite 1 to smite 2, launch smite one and click Divine Legacy.

Keep in mind other than some set skins and some legacy gem re-imbursement. Literally nothing else is gonna transfer over.

You should be able to link your Hi-Rez account to your Steam account on https://my.hirezstudios.com which will merge them together and give you everything you've earned.

When I launch Smite 1, the box for divine legacy already has a green check mark. This makes me think my account is linked already? But when I sign in through Steam on Smite 2, the account name is my Steam name, NOT my Smite 1 name. Could Smite 2 be logging in through Steam and not recognizing my Smite 1? My accounts are connected. Does this make sense? Is it an issue you can solve?

I first played Smite NOT through the Steam Client, and only later started launching through Steam. Smite 2 currently logs in with my Steam name, and NOT my old Smite 1 name. Could this be related to my issue?

As long as your SMITE 1 and Steam are linked on the Hi-Rez page, then that shouldn't be the issue. Can you please tell me what your SMITE 1 in-game name is?

I should see rewards like certain 'cross-gen' skins correct? When I launch Smite 2 I do not have any of the skins. Additionally, my Smite 2 name is using my Steam name, not my Smite 1 name.

I was able to link your SMITE 1 and SMITE 2 accounts, so you should have all of your Divine Legacy rewards now.

I was able to link your SMITE 1 and SMITE 2 accounts, so you should have all of your Divine Legacy rewards now.
