Is this a joke and troll advice? I'm personally playing ranked myself, and, oh well, it's not good either.
I had a match yesterday in ranked with enemy Izanami having practically 0 experience in Casual Conquest. Yet she came into Ranked Conquest while being what? 5-7 account level but she gets that access because she has enough gods with the Founder's Edition pack?
I could understand if that's Smite 1 player gaming in Conquest in Smite 1 and that player switches to Smite 2 because most gods just work the same, it's the items in most situations that you should relearn. But when a person is completely new to Smite 2, gets Founder's pack and thus aquires access to Smite 2 Ranked system, that shouldn't work like that.
In the other match I was playing with Herc who was running around as if it was a bot activated.
I am not saying I am playing great and I am a good player, but when we have teammates like THAT in ranked, that questions me about Ranked value overall and if it's worth time spending.

And if someone acts like "but you can give them advice". What kind of advice can you give in a RANKED game? In a casual game where players are learning, yeah, sure. But in a ranked game I expect players to at least know basics like not jumping 1 vs 5 every single time and ending it like 0-10 at 10 minutes mark constantly spamming the "surrender" button and then staying AFK at base if they fail to surrender.

"I have never seen so many awful, awful players..." This is why Smite tends to be up there with the toxic communities. Look in a mirror, bro. But I'm sure you don't care. xD
btw it's not the amber players fault ... i don't blame them it's not their fault they got thrown into a lobby with plats and high diamonds...
If they want more people to play ranked then they really need to prove that if you grind the matches you get in become higher quality if i'm grinding my teeth looking at my team mates going 0 - 7 within 8 mins i have to question it ... and it happens often and tracker gg shows their SR and ur like how what?!
it works both ways if they get crapped on they may hate the game and we get them on our team we don't have fun?
They need to increase the matchmaking timer and let it cook instead of trying to put everyone in a match within the first 2 mins lol i'd rather wait 5 mins then waste 30 mins
How is saying that I'matched with awful players, toxic?
I don't give a flying rip about how bad people are. I just don't want to be matched with those people.
Hence the title of the thread.
Believe me, people are trying but not everybody has a lot (or any) moba experience. Understanding the intricacies of these games is not a given, it has to be learned.
Personally all this made me uninstall the game because my new player experience was just frustrating and not fun at all. It's a bit sad because I do enjoy the gameplay itself. I wish I could play against other people who are just as clueless as I am but I only run into people like you lmao
I mean, then don't play a competitive game, if you are going to afk or rage quit. That's how all PvP competitive games work.
