Why do you hate Ares? he feels like such a meme, no longer has the rewarding mechanic of chaining multiple heroes and then using his 2nd ability to gain extra benefits, can't do the bumba's hammer thing on him with having multiple chain casts, everyone has access to displacement immunity it feels like, you made AOE BEADS in an item, made displacement immune items, i can't apply my ultimate chain to CC immune targets so i can't even pull them after the immunity ends, everyone(including me) looks at ares and goes: oh cool, someone to bully.

he was the first god i ever played in smite 1, i loved his kit, and all i feel when i look at him is sadness

every time i play, even when i'm not playing ares, i find reasons not to play ares, as more and more things screw him over, or are just unfun about him to deal with
