I know this sounds basic but try the verifying folders, and game drivers and ect

if that dosent work could be like a hardware/software compadability issue and instability?
I got basically the same exact specs except i got a more powerful Rx 5600xt

Have you checked your drivers?
Usually the first suspect.

yeah i've got 16G of ram, an rx6600, and a ryzen 7 5500... have everything set to low/off and i'm lucky if i get 30 fps playing this game, then of course there's the massive stutters but hopefully they will work more on optimizing the game in the near future rather than pumping out more skins

Appreciate you reporting this. We do get reports of when people crash and we have folks chasing those down. Most of the suggestions in here are really good ones. If this continues we'd love to get you in contact with our Support folks and get your logs so we can see specifically what is happening.

You can find log files by hitting Windows+R and entering %LocalAppData%. That will open a folder window which should have a SMITE2Alpha folder inside it, which will have a Saved folder inside it, and finally a Logs folder. The file we're most interested in seeing is called Hemingway.log which you can upload to a file share website to share with us.
