System requirements
As somebody who cant justify buying new hardware for games i have 2 simple questions:
Is smite 2's requirements going to increase substantially over time much like the first smite? Are the current listed minimum requirements a hard requirement or strong recommendation like usual?

Game can probably run good enough for 60+ on lower specs depending on the settings

since the game's recomended graphics are pretty low with like GTX 1050s
What are your system specs?

A good middle ground for considering upgrades is at least the recommended specifications. Over time, Unreal Engine, Windows, etc... may shift system requirements slight but in general if you are able to play SMITE 2 now, you should be able to play for quite some time in the future.
im waiting for free to play and then i will know if i can actually run it. a lot of games start their gui and only crash or kick me after trying to load the actual games itself.
i had a bad experience with halo infinite, the very first update patched my system out of being able to even boot the game and hope to avoid the same fate here. it heavily sucks to be a gamer with absolutely no budget for it.

current system i mainly use is a 2013 gaming laptop
I-7 4700HQ 2.4ghz
24gb ram
2gb gtx-765 integrated gpu
500gb samsung ssd

You'll probably need a new laptop or gaming PC to play Smite 2. It were a good laptop back then but now unfortunately it's pretty washed up.

You definitely should try it when it becomes F2P, tho.
Thanks for all the input, guess ill just try and see. otherwise i'll just play when new hardware falls in my lap.
