Is it normal to start at level 0?
Yesterday I bought the game to receive Ymir's Cacodemon skin, but I think I made a mistake, I started the game before correctly linking the account on the Smite 2 website, I received the skins but the problem is that now my progression started at level zero, whereas in Smite 1 I was level 150, was this supposed to happen? (I noticed that the Loki skin from some gems in game 1 seems not to have been transferred either)

SMITE 1 to SMITE 2 linking via Divine Legacy gives you the following in SMITE 2:
  • 1 Legacy Gem for every Gem spent in SMITE 1
  • Cross-Gen skins purchased in SMITE 1
  • Divine Legacy skins unlocked for free by playing SMITE 1
  • Badges for your milestones in SMITE 1 (exact details are available in SMITE 1)
  • Mastery Badges to show off the levels and stars achieved for each god

yeah it is but i think the loadout for each god you can select the option to show your smite 1 rank
How do I do this?
Should definitely be higher than 0 if you were lvl150. Sounds like your account didn't get transferred properly into Smite 2, may be. Did you link the Smite 1 and Smite 2 accounts on Divine Legacy page in Smite 1? Could also be an issue with Steam account not having been linked before.

I did it through divine legacy, I went to the hi-rez website now to see the linked accounts and there was no smite 2 there and I don't have the button to link with steam, I even tried to enter the website with the steam account instead of login and password and it gives an error: "Something went wrong. Please try again."
Hmm, I haven't faced such issue myself, so not sure what is wrong, exactly. You could try opening a support ticket with Hirez so they take a look at your account.

I did this, when the ticket result arrives I will share it here
Wait, we weren't supposed to start out at a low level? I'm like 135 in Smite and started out at base in Smite 2, even after linking everything.

From what they said in other discussions and from hi-rez itself there should be cross-progression, but it seems there is some flaw in that...

I think you're talking about cross-platform progression. I believe everyone starts at level 0 in Smite 2.
