Regarding the Updates
I notice that almost every time i boot up steam there is SMITE 2 update for 500MBish, but there are never any news as to what got fixed or updated?
(Unless its a big ol patch that actually gets a post)
Today was one for 1GB and again no news, all while the community is still struggling to actually play the game due to recent bugs, which make the game/windows/entirety of their PC die mid game and they're forced to restart to get their system functional again.

The following also affected my friends and most likely a lot of smite players since there are constantly DCs on both teams almost every match. The only solution for now that the devs are offering is "Updating bios so hopefully that solves it" and it doesn't for some of the players either as according to the forums. I understand the game is in Alpha and devs have much to work on, but I don't believe directing players to a "possible" fix, let alone forcing the playerbase that paid premium price to tinker with their software/hardware just to be able to play the game again is justified. Other UE5 games run fine and somehow crashes started just recently for the community, which means that something that devs put out provoked it.

I hope the priorities get set straight and this issue is addressed with more urgency, personally I would prefer to be able to play with my friends again on a version that has 40 gods rather than get another 5 broken/buggy additions to the game by Jan 15th and avoid the game altogether since my boys don't get to play it. I am sure many of the community members share my position as well.

I enjoyed and do still enjoy both SMITE1 and SMITE2, as a fan of the games I would absolutely love more transparency offered to us so via forums so we can track the additions/bug fixes that are being rolled out in real time with these recent steam updates.

Would be cool to hear everybody else's thoughts as well 👍🏻

this daily updates became a mystery

We appreciate the concern around this and know it is not our intention to obfuscate these game updates in any way. We've been rapidly iterating over the past few months releasing updates almost daily to address immediate concerns and bugs we see as fast as humanly possible. Unfortunately this iteration moves a lot faster than our ability to provide communication for the changes.

Rest assured this is a top priority for our Community Managers and you will start seeing notes around updates very soon. Also don't let the size of the update fool you, sometimes a really large size update can mean a big file (like the map) had a minor change but you have to get the whole file. We try to avoid these where possible, but we're adamant about fixing issues we find.

Thanks for the reply and clarification Radar, really appreciate it.

Hopefully y'all are able to fix the crashing issues too by the 15th Jan release, best of luck!

Looking forward to those update notes in the future.
