Playing this game feels pointless at this point

Played a rank game, diamond to masters players, had a Nu Wa go 0-5 and leave at 8 minute mark, team refuse to f6 and waste 30 minutes fighting an unwinnable battle...lose, get into next game, have a dude say another dude in the lobby is a troll and that we're going to lose, proceeds to get in the game and immediately tell us he's throwing since we didn't dodge for him, feeds, we surrender as soon as possible and lose 163 SR (yes, 163 for whatever inexcusable, unexplainable reason).

And this is par for the course. It's almost every game in ranked at this point. If you aren't going to at punish these people and get them off the game, at least alleviate the detriment from the SR assassins on our rank. This is going to kill this game.

How are they going to punish if theres barely any players playing the game? Ban the only few ppl that are playing? I know what you mean and its happening a lot in my games as well, guess its ppl trolling to finish the game off as a protest or something.
I am not playing ranked smite 2 anymore (not playing at all actually). I am just finishing download smite 1 again to play with my favorites gods before the games shuts down the game soon.

Maybe they could simply apply an temporary block of those people playing the ranked mode, so they would still be able to play non-ranked, this way they are punished but not banned from playing everything. Maybe also add so you need masteries before playing ranked like it used to be on smite 1.

It's probably the most pointless multiplayer game on the market right now. There's no point in taking it seriously or in sticking around when the snowball isn't in your favor. Enjoy the game for what it is, a casual brawler. It won't be around for long anyway.

ive played with you before and yes high elo is utter aids, this might sound psychotic but i have a note pad doc on my pc of people that throw/afk or are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and if i see them in god selected i dodge the que

I hope the game has an offline end of life plan and they don't kill it if the servers shut down.

the playerbase is too small for ranked the majority dont even play conquest

go play dota or lol if you want to play a ranked moba smite is not it

masteries doesnt mean anything so wouldnt really do anything

just do what I did, leave a negative review and uninstall, seriously its the best you can do without losing your mind even if you love Smite like I do.
