Whenever there are 5k+ steam players on late evenings on EU sometimes it is much better, but outside of these hours it is tough to find a good match ^^
It is a bummer, because I get matches, where everyone is master. obsidian, diamond or plat and they do not know how to play the map.
I jungle mostly. When I make a play on DUO that would let us do gold fury at 6min - we kill both enemy duo laners, their mid is dead, enemy jungler on the solo lane jungle, I call an obvious gold fury.. they go for enemy teleport harpies invade instead and go back to the base, while on almost full HP telling me to shut up, as if I said something offensive
First gold fury(and objective. not even naga before) in both teams at 22min.
It is the result of low player count on top of non-ideal matchmaking - bad players go much higher in rank than they should and You get ~silver level matches with people ~4k MMR.
If they thought Smite 1 was unsustainable in 2023 when they started working on Smite 2 when the game had over 20k players it really makes me question how long Smite 2 will be around.
DOOOOOOOOM!
Am I doing it right?
Also, 6,900 players in Smite 2 currently, compared to 2,500 players in Smite 1. Guess that kind of torpedos the OP's whole thread.
Get those numbers right, you made the smite 1 player count higher then it seemed, smart guy.
