Glitch/Issue halfway through game not allowing auto or ability use

Hey guys, ever since today 9/9 I've been having an issue where halfway or at a random point in a smite 2 game, my ability to use abilities or even auto attack goes away. When I press 1,2,3, or 4 it even shows that key being pressed to select the ability, but nothing happens. I've been playing in arena btw. It has happened about every other game, 2/4 games it has occurred. When it happens, I can walk around, navigate settings menu, but cannot fight whatsoever. Both times I avoided death and went to spawn where I sat idle trying to fix my issue. I haven't tested dying as a fix yet, didn't think to do that the second time. Please share your input, I eagerly await.

I am having the same issue. My moves are not working or registering after the update. There seems to be a big lag time in between everything. Buying items using moves sometimes it will show the visual of the same move multiple times but it is not registering in game. Movement is wonky etc. Game is broken for me after the update.

Were you having any issues beforehand? The only thing I could even complain about before today was that the audio would cut out off and on during matches sometimes, but I could at least keep playing. Now it isn't playable until the next update

No issues before the update. The game is completely unplayable for me as of now. Kind of like playing with extreme lag where my abilities will show the visuals sometimes even multiple times but not register in game. Checked my internet speed multiple times it definitely wasn’t that so I think there is a problem with the game code after the update.

I've had it happen to me twice and only way i could solve the problem is letting opponent kill me then it work. Also had basic attack not work also but at least I think i just bought an item and it started working or leveled an ability. I can't remember which did the trick since it happen to me last weekend but hasn't happen since.

Okay, that is good to know, if it happens again I will die or try buying and selling items maybe.

Considering you had no issues before, yeah it sounds like solely the update is to blame. If it doesn't fix itself after the next update I would try looking at the integrity of your game files to make sure nothing is corrupt. If they are I would just completely reinstall personally.

Hate to post necro, but I just had this happen to me. Unable to use an ability or attack. Tried dying, tried buying items to no avail.
