Lord I am tired of posting this. *sigh* SMite 2 is currently opt in through buying the god pass. Similar to Smite 1. You can wait and play later once the game goes to free to play. When you link your account from Smite 1 to Smite 2 you will get legacy gems that can be used to rebuy skins from Smite 1 as they bring them to the game. They may not bring all the skins you had. As far as god gaining progression they are talking about moving to a pass like system so that once you reach a certain level you unlock new god instead of just gaining favor.

No skins are kept. no characters/god packs are kept, but I'm sure as others will say soon, you can get a copy of the game for free through twitch drops atm, or there's a giveaway site.

The $30 for the second game's god pack, access is obtainable through free means without owning a founders.

its ok u dont need to defend the million dollar company they will be fine do something else with your time they are not paying you

I am not defending anything. It is more the fact that there are 10 posts all saying the same thing at the same time (not literally 10) instead of taking the time to look and see other people have the same question asked. Its like when people hold a phone and ask questions they can just google. I don't mind explaining things. Love it actually. Also if you do want to claim I am defending anything I am defending A game I have put over 12 years into. A game I love. A game that saved my life. Then I have other posts were people want to say uhh I can't believe they are charging for alpha blah blah. Like What do you think all these early access games are. But because it is Hi-Rez people want to complain and act holier than thou.

you know whats a scam the fact we are playing the same game and almost nothing carries over from smite 1 its bad enough we lose 90% of our skins and even worse we dont get the god pack we already bought with the same gods that exisit in smite 2. im buying the same gods again WTF

I appreciate the devs doing this, it really teaches people a life lesson about wasting money on meaningless garbage. Just because digital things do not decay, break, or otherwise becomes unusable, does not mean that everything is now an 'investment'.

It's not a jab at the consumer either, it truly is a good lesson to take away from garbage companies. No one is your friend, no one cares about you, your thoughts, your feelings, how broke you are. All they care about is you paying them more.

I've played since beta in Smite 1 and probably threw them 20 bucks, still have 100+ skins and a ton of gems playing random events, logging in for the bonus etc. It's all meaningless, and by the end I wish I could turn off skins it was so ridiculous.

when a superior game like deadlock gives u all heroes for free and dont charge for an alpha explain to me why smite 2 has to do it. No reason to charge for the gods or the alpha....plus smite 2 is not being innovative at all for the moba genre nothing new
