do they ever plan on releasing smite 1 skins in smite 2 and would you have to rebuy them?

I had some good looking skins that I would like to see with the improved graphics but don't want to pay hundreds of dollars to do it.

skins that are marked as cross-gen are going to be released in Smite 2 eventually if they aren't already(as they are currently focused on releasing more gods rather than cosmetics). If you already own them in Smite 1, you will automatically have them in Smite 2 as well.

Skins that are not cross-gen, are not planned to be re-released(probably ever). The reason is that is would be a technically daunting task with how much is changed between Unreal Engine 3 and 5, and also I think the thinking is that releasing all-new skins will be more profitable than remaking and rereleasing an old one(but things can change as we are just in alpha)

They plan to bring back many of the most popular skins, but not all skins, and it will take time as they're focusing on building the game and the gods first

i believe at some point they said theyd probably bring some eventually but with the way things are looking no they will not be doing that

Legacy skins will be able to be purchased, they are 100% purchased with Legacy Gems. Legacy gems are free gems that HiRez gave to the loyal players that they never had to give out at all.
