how do I talk in game?

I have a lot of questions, need help. don't remember what IM doing.

I hope they add in a chat function. While there are toxic players, I prefer text chat over voice since I don't want to bother others within my household. I am also new, need help, and am only playing AI games until I get a better grasp of the game. I don't want to be a burden to others playing.

the mentality should be , if you stay out of ranked you should be fine but that doesn't seem to be the case here. also the player count is very low it seems and a lot of the people are smite vets w/ thousands of hours just absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on new players so doesn't do well to make people want to keep playing as a new player.
