Is this intentional or a bug?

I found out this accidentally last night since it doesn't say on the skill.
To make it more funny, enemy Athena was probably confused also, she was warding whole game and me killing wards almost instantly. After some time she started buying sentry wards to find out how I see them. In the end, she bought like 40 wards, and even her duo laner bought 10+.

+ I confirm. I also stood against Nuiva and could not understand how she took them off so quickly. Then I found out that there is such a bug!
