Steam Deck supported?
I heard that the game is planned to be supported for the steam deck, but will the upcoming alpha test be at list playable? Any one tried it in the earlier alpha tests?
I purchased the founders edition only for this solo reason. Thank in advance for any relevant replies.

This is a UE5 game and those in particular have been hard on the deck in the past. The First Descendant, Lords of the Fallen, Hellblade 2 etc. They can optimize it before launch but it could also break with updates throughout the alpha. The First Descendant runs on the deck but it disconnects you if your performance drops below a certain point and that tends to happen in some bigger fights. Hopefully they get to a more complete state before launch where they can ensure you have a good experience.

There are videos on Youtube from over 3 months ago of Smite 2 running on Steam Deck, and the performance was complete ass. It's of course possible that it gets better between now and then the open access begins in two weeks, but usually that's never the case with game development.

I wish instead of Smite 2, we just got Smite 1 actually working correctly on Steam Deck, because Smite 1 is playable on Nintendo Switch.
