Deserter penalty
Can anyone tell me why there's a penalty for deserters in an Alpha test? What if you got kicked out?

Unlucky. If it happens only to you, and often, get more stable internet. There is a deserter penalty because people leaving ruins the game for the other 9 players, if there was no penalty people would do it more.

The Alpha Test has its own forum on steam FYI. And It is to test that the deserter system works i guess,
