X2 legacy gems?

Hello all, i started playing Smite yesterday ( yes im freaking late to the party )

i have been playing arena so far, to see what the game is about or atleast the hero's
want to dabble in conquest mode ones i know my hero's more.

anyways i am interested in buying a founder pack for Smite 2. So i can be there from the start this time.

What does the x2 legacy gems mean? Than when i purchase the gems in the online store in smite 2 it gets doubled? Like i buy 500 get 1k??

I have been trying to find the answer but dont really get it. Saw something about 50% and 100% skin buying with gems, but that confusses me so thought lets ask.

Any gems you SPEND key word, will be given to you in Smite 2, 2x if you get a founders pack. So spend 600 in the current battle pass and get 1200 in smite. Note due to revaluing of gems in general this means you get the exact value of what they are worth back so not double the value.

These legacy gems can be used to discount new content by 50% so any skins and events newly made for Smite 2 or for older ported over content from Smite 1 which you can use just your legacy gems on to acquire the entire item.

Note with buying skins that only skins marked with the Cross-gen tag will guaranteed appear in Smite 2, others are not. It is pretty valuable to get the Cross-gen skins in Smite 1 because you get the gems back in 2.

I looked at cross gen skins, none really that i fancy. ill keep my steam wallet till smite 2 releases so i can buy skins i fancy. Might be a waste of the x2, but dont want to buy skins i dont like in the first place. Plus money is not easy to come by for me.

Bought the founders edition i wanted. The zeus skin is awesome in smite. Still learning the game in arena mode. Some people aint paytiance when it comes to new people it seems. But its a fun game. Cant wait for smite 2 or, i hope a second alpha test.

Oh saw the package for 80 euro with all the cross-gen skins, the imortal honor thingy.
Maybe i can get the rest of the money i need for that. Cause if that counts for the x2 than that would be 7k x2 is 14k (does the bundle count if u do the buy all skins?)

Its not all the cross gen skins, just 2 skins for it each patch. There are others in like the cross gen pass and in some chests. But it does indeed count, so you get the exact value of it back in Smite 2.

It says on the discription, 2 cross gen skins per patch. With way more to come. So that would be a bunch of cross gen skins than for smite 2. Cool, thanks!

Can't see what? The legacy gems you've earned are displayed in regular old Smite.

so i started smite 2 when the servers went live and i havnt gotten any gems or anything like that? do i have to do something to redeem them?
