I mean ♥♥♥♥ even Overwatch 2, which was supposed to be a buy to own game, with a PvE mode(that got dropped) was going to let us keep all of our skins and such we had unlocked over our years of playing, whether they were gotten from loot boxes, or had purchased them outright by leveling up and using our coins.
HiRez has a history of treating it's employees like crap, along with other horrid practices.
If this continues and there's no unified front other than Hirez trying to ask Jake Lucky to play Smite (which doesn't really work) then yeah. But then again the proof is that they had all this capital but all their bad decisions have come home to bite them in the ass.
Did you read the announcement bro? All the old skins will be converted over and you will still have them. Also any gems you spent on icons and stuff that isn't in Smite 2 will be added to your Smite 2 gems count
Did you ever made a game in 2 diff engine ? Do you realy think there is a Transfer Button made for devs to copy them ? Ridicilous
i hate entitled people thinking they are owed something. they bought a skin and got a skin it doesn't get any deeper then that, right?!
a new game would imply they add more modes down the line or brand new 5v5 maps.
Not true.
Migrating a game from one engine to another is not that simple.
UE3 and UE5 are so different that they're pretty much entirely different engines at this point.
Smite 2 is not an update- it's a sequel.
