missing white block chapter 2

I have the blue and red blocks and got to the puzzle in the 3rd portal, and noticed my white block is missing. I cannot find it anywhere. Do i have to start the chapter again or is there a way to retrieve it.

the white block should be where the first puzzle is just south of your base. If you did the puzzle and died you might have dropped the white block (i did and had to back track to get it). As long as you didn't destroy it from the inventory it should still be around.
