Traitors you all are for excluding 9. As for dqx offline it will come west. Already has a price tag of 199 on steam. Placeholder perhaps, but a price regardless.
Hahaha yo i'm all for DQIX coming too my dude!
I want EVERY SINGLE DQ game ever released being brought to Steam, I truly do!
It fine if IX comes, I just wasn't a big fan of it.
Honestly I can saw a chart. PC sales are stable or slow. Vs mobile is 20x higher. Want your game to pay the Bill's and make profit. Atm mobile is where it is. I dont have to like it but it's the facts.
Just release on both, simple as that
I have the originals, but would prefer to play on PC than having to dust off consoles. :p
But also would love to see the Monsters series brought to Steam.
I want they to release every single one of them here on Steam, dude.
Every
Single
One.
It irritates me quite a bit they are completely remaking DQ3 for the fifth time, when its available on even low-capability tablets, but won't bridge the gap to refresh DQ9 or bring DQX to the west (yet.) Its a terrible shame that someone picking up the series now can not easily play all eleven.
Dqx prob has many issues and would be lots of money. Translate, and voice acting. Yes dqx offline has both in Japanese. And overall it didn't sell well. It's in my library I beat it. Took 500 hours.
On top if that you can take that toon to online after beat 1.0 or 2.0. But no western mmo publisher. Possible Amazon or Microsoft picks it up. But my point it has issues. Dqx on steam though does have a global price tag on steam and playable outside japan so it's just a matter of time til we get it.
Yea, you have a point.
If they release DQIX here someday i'll buy it in heartbeat.
The fact DQX Offline didn't sell well in Japan was entirely expected by everyone except SquareEnix management. It was obvious to every analyst both inside and outside of Japan that the majority of Japanese players would buy (or already had bought) the superior online version, since it was cheaper, had better graphics, and several more chapters of story. The offline version only appealed to Japanese players that wished to play in places they couldn't get a decent wireless signal, like when riding the subway or shinkansen, or traveling outside of Japan. It was known at announcement in the 35th anniversary show that it had a very niche audience in Japan. Everyone with a brain recognized it wouldn't turn profit until localized for the west where it would have much more fertile ground. The fact SquareEnix has been dragging their feet on the western releases, when the only way Offline version was ever going to be profitable is with a worldwide release, is just bad management.
