Uncensor the steam

Could the PC version be made like how this game was originally supposed to be? There's this ugly steam covering up the girls now that wasn't originally going to be present. Games don'[t need to be censored or have cut content on PC.

Thank you, was about to post https://imgur.com/a/jwmxb9g but you did it before me.
Seconding the request to uncensor the game.

Kind of curious if they even kept the uncensored assets saved somewhere.

or at least provide a patch I guess...but nowadays games with nudity are allowed here so I don't see a reason to not just post it uncensored.

Steam is as pro-censorship as PlayStation when it comes to Japanese games, so they probably can't do that.

For still images, people can mod it super easily nowadays, with Stable Diffusion Img2Img.

The steam in the original release was never censored, the problem is screenshots don't show you how the steam moves. Some patches are thicker than others, that's all. I played the original release and you could see plenty enough in line with the CERO C rating it received.

I'll add that people assumed censorship just based on the timing of the release and the fact that the game was CERO C rated instead of D rated like similar prior games -- but the rating was likely never meant to be higher. The development screenshots shown to claim censorship didn't yet have the functioning steam added.

Also keep in mind that this was originally a console release for Japan, so explicit nudity was NEVER intended.

The issue is that the steam is not censored.

The uncensored screenshots don't have steam at all, it's not an issue of having thicker/thinner patches of cloud.

There's games that show the same amount of skin (and smoke/ray of light) as the censored version and still have the CERO D rating. In fact, many games that got censored by smoke and ray of light during that era still got the CERO D rating despite being butchered worse than this one.
It's not a reliable metric.

The only fanservice games that ever showed fanservice scenes that weren't in the final game were those that got censored.
Otherwise this is called false advertisment and is illegal.

The console argument is weak because it assume that fanservicey games don't exist on console and none of those technically show explicit nudity.
None of the uncensored screenshots show explicit nudity, you act like it's a porn game when it's only mild ecchi, the screenshot that got censored is probably the lewdest scene of the game.

Was anyone expecting nudity
I was just wanting an uncut ecchi game and am fully aware that there's no nudity

Let's not push it, SOYNY ans M$ are the worst, Steam is second worst and Nintendo is the most hands-off for 3rd party games.

Most of the time, the Steam version and Switch versions are the same and the PlayStation version is censored. And if for some reason the Steam version is censored, the companies will often provide a patch for you to download off their website.

Valve is an independent company and being a PC game distributor, they don't need to rely on games rating. With PC gaming gaining grounds in Japan with the Steam Deck and all, Valve should open an Office in Japan and let Japanese people evaluate Japanese games, not a bunch of woke activists from the west coast of America.

Steam is probably to blame since the switch has the uncensored version.

That is not confirmation it is uncensored, better to wait and see. And if it is, hopefully it's possible to mod it.

I don't know Japanese but this person seems to have contacted the publisher and got some info, saw it shared around

Using DeepL for the tweet and the Japanese QRTs, seems the Switch version may be more censored compared to other versions based on what this user is saying.

DeepL:
[Sad news] Restrictions on the Switch are about to begin.

"Yuragisou no Yuna-san Yukemuri Labyrinth Pole" to be released on January 18 next year.
Apparently, only the Switch version will have reduced expression

I actually contacted the distributor to confirm this, so I'm sure it's correct!

Until now, in the gentlemen's gaming world, the Switch has been known to have "loose restrictions"... but...

But that era may have already come to an end.

It is possible that the PS version of the game will be more loosely regulated than the PS version in the next year or so, so be careful!
Chaika Trabant Dec 29, 2023 @ 12:26am
So there's no uncensored version?
Only a censored version or a possibly even more censored one?
etch Dec 29, 2023 @ 12:41am
Seems that way
