Disappearing Tool After Center Pivot
Hello,

I may have discovered a bug with Maya LT 2016 on Windows 7. After using Modify -> Center Pivot, you can no longer see the move/rotate/scale tools when viewing from top down view. It is viewable as normal in all other view ports.

Additionally, it appears that top down view doesn't display all the correct meshes (deleting several meshes stacked upon each other and deleting just some of them will make the meshes disapear in top down as an error but not in others) nor does marquee select seem to work correctly as well (selects only a few if the meshes are stacked on each other but not all).

Attempts to fix being able to see the tool are listed below (without sucess):

1) Change from shaded to wireframe (side note. Top view has the shaded displayed in black with default lambert instead of grey)

2) Reset Viewports to default

3) Changing the location of the icon manually using insert.

Hope this helps and get's resolved soon as this issue currently makes Maya 2016 LT unusable to me. If this is a known bug with a fix, I would love to hear back on the proper steps to fix the issue.

hi.

this looks like a video card issue. what video card do you have? try updating the drivers and see if it helps.

Hey Ocelot,

I am using an NVIDIA 980 GTX. I didn't realize I was 1 version behind on my driver, so I went ahead and updated it. Release notes seem to suggest that the driver version was mostly released for the new Titan, but I'll give it a go later and report back.
