Maybe you simply aren't liking the default acceleration. Google around to find out how to turn it off.
So UNPLUG/DISCONNECT your controller if you have this issue, it sucks but it's the only way I was able to fix it.
edit: It might have been placebo, it still pulls my cursor away I think... So much for headshots in this game, just spray and pray.
There 100% is auto aim in this game on kb/m. It pulls the crosshair without your input towards enemies (usually center of mass, making headshots difficult to pull off since you're fighting the auto aim)
Please don't gaslight people if you don't know what you're talking about
That is indeed Placebo, even with my controller not plugged it still pulls the mouse unfortunately :/
As you might know, there's no active development currently ongoing for Watch Dogs 1, so any updates are unlikely. That said, I've been sure to note all your feedback about autoaim on K&M controls, and we'll keep this in mind for future developments with our other projects.
I hope you've otherwise had a good time with Watch Dogs :)

I completed Watch Dogs 1 a bunch of times. I remember playing it over again, right after beating it the first time, clearly I really liked the game.
I just started playing it again, for like the 4th playthrough, and I was immediately put off by the mouse. The strange behavior with the acceleration, and even worst was the aim assist. I started questioning my own memories, could I have never noticed it before now? Highly unlikely.
I found some old videos I had saved, and there was no sign of aim assist in them. Also, there's people online saying they never noticed any aim assist. So is it possible it's caused by some external factor? I tried uninstalling software like Xbox gamepad drivers, but nothings worked, yet.
I should add that I had never plugged a controller into my system when I played WD1. Only recently had I plugged in a controller, since my nephew uses them. This is why I think it may be related to gamepad drivers.
