One shot kills/full vehicle disables
Like really?
Is this some sort of hack (no pun intended) or can you really build a weapon to be this OP?
It seems that whenever I get hacked or try to hack someone, half of the time whoever the character is, insantly sees me and no matter what car i'm in, I hear one shot and my car is in flames and totally done for.
Same goes if i'm on foot too.

What is the point of hacking people then, when stuff like this happens?
I am highly enoying this game, but once I run into crap like this...I instantly hate it.

The Destroyer. A single shot vehicle destroyer.

You unlock it by completing 10 Criminal Convoys.

It is also useful for single shot sniping Enforcers. :D

TBH Watch Dogs Observe Mode and Hack mode aren't worth playing lately.
There too many people and situations where, if you are not in a car, they will get in one and drive off (I assume they are using the Focus Abuse to detect if theyre being invaded) or if you are in a car they will get out and blow you up, which is easy to identify, because AI cars drive so freaking stodgingly that human players stand out, even if you mimic them.

I've actually had a ton of luck in tailing modes, as i'm pretty good at hiding and taking my time.
However the hacking modes...forget about it.
I find it much more fun if someone invades me because they're limited in how they engage in "combat".

The racing is pretty decent too, though since I play racing games normally, I tend to dominate everyone else I play against (helps using a controller too).

Yeah I play a lot of the racing too. One of the few modes where everyone is forced to be on an even start.

They really need to do something about the focus abuse to detect invaders.

Focus abuse? I didn't even think you could use focus in multiplayer at all...
Whenever i'm evaded, I always try to be 100% fair, I try to sneak around, use cameras, etc.

To me, it's not fun being able to just pin point someone right away and kill them or whatever, ruins the entire premise of the game.

Skynet, its the fact that you -can't- use Focus in multiplayer that allows it to abuse the MP system.

If you think you are being invaded, but haven't received an indicator, press Focus. If it flashes blue rapidly, but doesn't slow the world down, youre being invaded. This is why sometimes you'll connect to a MP session and the other guy will jump in a car immediately and blaze away at 100MPH.

Ahh, i've also noticed that pausing the game is a trick to find out too.
If you pause it and everything freezes around you (you can see the outlines of everything) it normally means you're good, but if things keep moving...it means you're being invaded.
There seems to be an odd delay between it all honestly and if someone is in the middle of connecting to you, there should be some weird "light" noises you hear, as if you're picking up some radio signal randomly (as I hear this randomly through out the game in certain areas and wonder often if that's what it is).

It would be so cool to tail someone without him knowing you are there, no message saying that one should find me or anything like that, no way of knowing I am even in someones game so the only way to find it out would be simply to be awake and scan periodically your surrounding for suspicious cars foloving you for ten minutes, etc. For first time I tailed someone I didnt know he knew I am here so I just stood in the crowd watching him running, thinking he has no reason to look for me:) I won it but it was probably new player like me.

Shoot the tyres or the engine bay if you don't have the destroyer, it's the quickest way to disable a vehicle otherwise.

Dodgy keyboard driving is always easy to identify, which is why I use a controller for watch dogs. Plus online hacking is getting harder because people are wising up to the little tricks that worked closer to launch like hiding in cars. Hiding in cars will work up until around half-way in the hack if you pick an inconspicous car and put it in a spot you'd expect a car to spawn.

The best way to win online hacking now is just to find cover behind something with cameras around so you can always keep an eye on the target and have time to react and rotate around cover if they come your way. Try not to cause a traffic jam and use the cars for cover because people who don't care about their reputation will just start blowing ♥♥♥♥ up and get you without even realising it (most people won't do this though because it leads to the cops being called and having to deal with you and the cops at once).
