City Hotspot bug on a new game?

So, decided to give this game a go after some years (still think it is the best of the 3) but noticed that my city hotspots are all greyed out. I completed them all on a previous save some years back but this is a new one. After visiting 5 hotspots, I checked my progress and it says 0/100. I presume this will never be fixed if it is a bug but does anyone know workaround to clear them so I can start collecting them from scratch?

This Hotspots glitch happended every time you auto save while checking in hotspot, recheck the hot spot you believed to be the one that bug should automatically Recheck it. Getting 100 hotspots before Online it's the best option.

It isn't just one hotspot. It is all of them. I am already past the online section of the game. Oh well, can't 100% the game now. What a ridiculous oversight from the devs.

1. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\(your userid)\541

2. Delete 1.save and leave the rest

3. Open Ubi Connect and disable cloud saves

4. Boot the game and jump back into Aiden

Trust me i had to do the same process when i restarted a save so i could record the multiplayer ♥♥♥♥ for Ubi support so they could give me a WD key for Connect so i could actually have multiplayer access.
