Avg. wait time Unknown

I have verified that I can access stuff like leaderboards and also did the trick with starting non-steam version once. But everytime I try to find anything I only get average wait time unknown until it stops looking

If I try to hack a friend my friend list is empty however (well there is one purple slot that is empty and when I click on it it says my friend is currently not available)

To me this is very confusing as on one hand I can see leaderboards but on the other hand I can't connect with neither friends nor online players (assuming there is atleast one person that I could connect to)

yes public servers seem to go down every month for 3-7 days. After that working again for 3 weeks straight. I think its server maintenance by Ubisoft.

well its speculation by me. i play online alot and this has happened before. The logical conclusion is that its server maintanence

i could be wrong about the server maintenance, but this has happened many times before. The servers will work again, unless they completely shut down watch dogs 1 online. it will happen someday.....
