The game is way too dark on tv but runs fine on pc moniters.
I don't know how else to describe this problem.

On my pc this game looks great runs great on my computer moniters. I have the worst mod running. Game looks 9.5/10

But when I stream this game to my tv the night time looks way too dark and no amount of calibration or gamma makes it better.

Puzzeled at why this is.

Are you using Game Mode? Regular tv presets usually have shading effects and stuff, game mode is generally much brighter. Are you using the Sweetfx The Worse released with V0.8?

gamma too low. try raising it on your TV.

I've had that problem with some of my games, TVs has some serious black levels compared to monitors

its a panasonic and apparently there's a setting to increase the black level with the ambient light level in the room called C.A.T.S.

So i turned that off and raised the brightness in game mode and found it somewhat better. Its still dark with the black levels but daytime is fine now but night along the freeway is bizarrely dark and hard to play.

You can also try doing some gamma correction on the game itself. If it helps a bit, raise the gamma a bit more then needed to see the desired image (not too high, but just a few ticks higher).

Thats the first thing I tried. Even at 100 I couldn't make out the logo 1 bit.

After that, saddly, I have no other tips other then to check your cable connections and the cable condition (make sure you dont have a lose wire or that a dog / cat / untrained ferret has been chewing the wires... or stealing them (lol, yes, had a friend bring his ferret over to my place and he (the ferret) tried to steal the wire for my headset)).

If all else fails, google can help... worst case senario, your TV needs a grave and a replacement.

I use a rather dark version of sweetfx. Found that at night and in some areas it helps to hit that ~ key and turn it off.

i have the same problem dont forget your tv is probably bigger then your pc monitors..i use 27'' monitors and my tv is 55'' so big difference here and try boosting up gamm or if you have the ''gaming'' option on your tv..i do and it make a big difference....makes,models,,value are also important factor..since quality is important..:p
