this s**t needs to stop!! PC will alwsy be more powerfull I mean if i guy wants to stick 4 titans in his rig and max games to ultra and get 200fps then let him hes spent $5,000 to do this!

If you buy a game from ubisoft after Far Cry 3 and more recently Watch Dogs I won't have any sympathy for you if you then find out that the game is downgraded or even completly broken, you shoud have learned by now

I thought Far Cry 3 was a pretty great game, one of my favorites... even if it was downgraded.

Yeah it was okay.. but somehow pretty boring.. after playing a bit of Wash Dogs.. Ubisoft's Open World games feel so plain boring and empty.. and i somehow do not want to play them anymore.. i cannot wait for GTA V on PC.. i just hope it's well optimized.. and then it'll be the best Open World game on PC ^.^

Oh, well. I didn't really care about any downgrade they did for Far Cry 3. I loved that game. I can't deny the E3 foilage looked a lot better though. It would've been way more fun. Watch_Dogs was a different story though. I ended up not purchasing it, and I couldn't be more glad. Although, I didn't really think they'd do it to a Tom Clancy game. It's sad to hear that. I just came here `cause I discovered on PC Gamer that modders have found a way to make Watch_Dogs look E3 quality as well as performance fixes (story is like a day old). From screenshots, it looks 10x better than whatever Ubisoft did to the game. Although, I've played the game myself, and I honestly don't like it- in terms of gameplay, not graphics.

Well they are doing it sadly... aswell as with Far Cry 4 and AC Unity.. it'll happen.. i know "Bla bla it's not always about graphics".. but why not having good gameplay AND good graphics? alot of people buy Enthusiast rigs to enjoy both things to it's full potential.. but sadly Devs like Ubisoft downgrade their games because they simply cannot code and develop them properly for consoles and PC at the same time..making the game look worse on PC to minimize the differences between the next gen consoles and PC.. PC will be always more powerful.. but Ubisoft doesn't wants to accept it as it looks like.

I really try not to complain about games but this really grinds my gears. I know my 60 bucks means nothing to Ubi but I think im ready to leave them alone. I also have the consoles for exclusives so I guess i'm supposed to buy multiplatform games for them also (Not Happening).
At this rate I should've kept my old sli 9800gtx build.

Same here. I really only have a last-gen console for the exclusives. I don't buy multiplatform games for them myself, as long as they are on PC (well, with GTA V I guess I did now- but I couldn't resist).

That (It's not always about graphics) statement is getting old. It's true to a certain degree but it is ( always about graphics) when game companies are shouting next gen this and next gen that. It is ( always about graphics) when they reveal trailers at E3. I agree so called Next Gen should produce gameplay and graphics, and If graphics didn't matter we'd still be gaming on PS2's and the old xbox's.

Ubisoft is just pathetic. I'm not buying another game from them. They are the kings of DRM, and they can never have a smooth release.

The PS4 is in my eyes a quite powerful console, it's well capable of handling good looking games.. it's up to a developer if they really want to take the time for it or not.. Look at Killzone Shadowfall, Infamous Second Son, Tomb Raider 2014, and soon The Last of Us... those are great looking games with good gameplay and graphics.. it is possible to make good looking games.. it's as i said, always up to a dev.. and Ubisoft clearly doesn't want to put that much effort into it... even if they say that they try to make the best possible on each platform..which is a lie.
