**********************************************************************************************************
INSTALLATION:
- Place patch.fat & patch.dat in your data_win64 folder.

Default Directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Watch_Dogs\data_win64\

This will differ with the Steam version, as well as any alternative drive setups you have, though it should still be in the general path.

**********************************************************************************************************
PLEASE NOTE:
Although the mod is now made to allow you to change visual settings in-game, it is still not recommended for it may still break the mod.
If you'd rather not risk it, change the visual setting values within the GamerProfile.xml file, found in your documents. Near the top, but not at the top, there will be a long line with all the visual settings and it's values listed.

Also, remember Ubisoft is also planning on adding an Auto-Update feature to UPlay, so keep an eye out for that so you can disable it, or at least for Watch Dogs. Starting UPlay in Offline Mode by default isn't a bad idea either.

**********************************************************************************************************
NOTICE FOR FUTURE GAMES:
Gamers, please be on your guard with Ubisoft. They already confirmed downgrading 'Tom Clancy's The Division,' like they did with Watch_Dogs and Far Cry 3.
Source: http://whatifgaming.com/the-division-developer-insider-we-already-downgraded-a-few-things/
It should be no surprise that they will do the same thing with all their games, including Far Cry 4.
It is commonly believed that Ubisoft does this to make consoles look not as bad, as well as boost pre-order sales. But together, we can fight their false advertisement and contract corruption. The evidence is within the mod. The mod doesn't just make the game look better, it makes the game run better.

**********************************************************************************************************
DISCLAIMER:
I don't own his mod nor it's rights or code. I was never a part of creating the mod or any of it's code. This thread is soely for awareness of the mod.

So, added the newest with maldo, still does fps drop with prolonged driving, everything else is flawless now!

Glad to hear.
Try turning Anti-aliasing down to MSAA and turn v-sync off.
That's the best advice I can give you for your card.
MSAA is the strongest form of AA. Just because TXAA is last in the list doesn't mean it's the strongest. TXAA is less intensive than MSAA.

Either way, temporal looks like the best choice since TXAA and MSAA still leaves plenty of jaggies for some odd reason for ppl who seem to still lag on ultra.

TXAA is only last on the list due to the way the alphabet and libraries work in computer programs.

We've been over this earlier in the post.
Ubisoft didn't code it correctly. TXAA is stronger for some hardware because of this and my lost fps due to TXAA is evidence.
I can confirm the new patch doesn't fix my issue :-(

Or maybe your computer is crap and/or you broke your OS :P
Everyone who complains on these forums have crappy computers or are very unknowledgable...
Meanwhile MY LAPTOP is still working correctly.
Nvidia just released new drivers to help the game and so did ubi. If you are STILL having problems, it's you and your crappy pc or you changed performance OS settings for no reason. Inb4 you see that the msaa setting has a warning that the others don't saying that it requires more resources....

Wow Shinra you must be right since I can run EVERY OTHER GAME I OWN perfectly except this one! Must be my computer and not Ubisofts bad port... Try again sir!
No, no, it's definitely Ubisofts fault. This is why the mod exists in the first place.
ATTENTION:

Ubisoft put out another patch for Watch Dogs.
It does break the mod, but if you replace the two mod files, it will work again.
