hes only after the money to chin money is more inportant
such a high tec story/game then the underlying is from the 80s films! but i also do belive the roginal script for the game had a much darker tone to it and hence the more family orentated owhich ubisoft went with
Oh the story was fantastic, I loved it, but that Jordi Chin thing was the only thing that made me go "Um...what?"
The bounty placed on Aiden's head is a big one, but it wouldn't make sense for Jordi to destroy a long term business relationship with him for a quick payout. Hence why he calls and warns his employer. Dead employer means no money - especially if he isn't the one making the hit.
By the end of the game, it's clear to Jordi and Aiden that this is wrapping up. Jordi has no more work coming in realistically from Aiden in the long run, so the offer made to him ontop of the bounty is a great idea.
As Aiden said, it's just business to Jordi. He has never been Aiden's friend the whole game, just a contracted employee. That's also why he calls you once the standoff is over, with news from Maurice.
His job was to get information out of Maurice, so once he has that information - he gives it to Aiden. His job is completed satisfactorially, regardless of what may have occurred on another hit job.
Okay, explained like that it makes a little more sense, thanks :) I just loved Jordi as a character, just how comfortable he was with his job was amazing.
In Short Damien was the one getting played.
Not sure what happens if you kill Maurice, but if you let Maurice live, Jordi calls you and you ask him hows the arm, and he replies it's bleeding a little, and they remain business friends.
If Jordi really turned on you, he wouldn't have shown up, he would have sniped both you and Damien then made it look like something else went down, after all you are the vigilante.
So much disinformation right here.
Jordi and Aiden did not set up this, it's never mentioned in the game, when Jordi calls Aiden he's trying to say "whatever I do to you it's nothing personal".
Also, Jordi calls Aiden before you can chose to let Maurice live or kill him.
Yeah I loved it! - Aiden's relationship with his sister I thought was initially kinda bland, but only because it's written that way. They weren't close after the death of Lena, because Aiden is an angry vengeful man, whereas his sister is desperate to move on and heal. Her brother is a constant reminder of the pain and anguish she felt for so long, so seeing him dip into these dark episodes where all he thinks about is protecting his family, and finding those responsible for its destruction, is incredibly painful for her. Not to mention the distance it adds to their relationship, considering how few people they both have left in their respective lives.
When they finally parted ways permanently - "I'm not following you anymore" - Jesus I thought that was good.
I loved how interesting Jordi's character was - his anecdotes were hysterial ("and gues what -- its not the delivery guy!") I wish he was more present in the game, but I think he fits very well in the narrative. I thought it was a super solid story, I loved it.
