Funny thoughts about Blume and ctOS.

So if anyone spent any time playing AC4 and actually did hack a couple computers in the "real world" you would have seen Blume and ctOS pop up everywhere. It took me a while to connect the dots from AC4 to Watch Dogs but now that I have I see one of two things happening with watch dogs 2.

Blume is revealed as high tech Templars and DedSec is revealed as High Tech assassins... OR they ditch it and say that this is totally original and we all just sit back and enjoy the templar v assassin motif through another Ubisoft series.

Can't believe it took me so long to connect these dots. I feel like an idiot.

There are former abstergo employees in the city and you-know-who (Don't want to spoil AC4 too much) is a target in a side-mission of watchdogs.

I just found it funny. The main baddies in Watch Dogs are a Templar run organization meanwhile the faction fighting for freedom and personal liberty is...... DedSec. Totally not Assassins, not at all.

Remember "John" from AC: Black Flag who was a skilled hacker but turned out to be not-so-Assassin? I have a similar hunch about DedSec based on some of their motives and what Aiden feels about them.

Well if that article is to be believed... then thats a bit sad. It's pretty much the same conflict as AC with different names. Oppressive and rich shadow organization wants to control everything. Morally ambiguous shadow organization wants to protect peoples freedoms and stop the control freak shadow organization.

Looks like the Ubi factory ran out of ideas....
