ADM Catalyst 14.6 Beta Driver download.

I found this download link after quite a big search.. this is the update that includes the fix for Watch_Dogs according to the information on the web.

Their download works a bit weird or is just overloaded by hype on this driver being possible fix to watchdogs poor performance. You need to wait a bit until download will start and still it goes pretty slow, i'm downloading it right now with download manager which speeded up a bit download speed.



For detailed changelog wait few hours for amd to release it officialy.

Didn't test it personally yet as i'm still download, a bit over 10 minutes left me to finish my download xD Will let know asap.

My problem turned out to be that I had crossfire enabled (Got 2 x 6950 HD). Disable it and it should fix it :)

I would like to know what this Catalyst is, how to install it and well, how does it work? im not really used to drivers and stuff... So how do i install this? how does it work? will it affect my computer? How do I manage to deal with this catalyst and my graphic card? I really dont know about those stuff and I would like some help from people that knows that better then me please. My graphic card is a AMD Radeon HD 7600 Series.

Catalyst is the name for the user interface, driver, and other various software that is installed with the graphics driver. You simply go to http://support.amd.com/en-us/download and put in your card information and it gives you the package to install. Then periodically you check back to do that process again for new drivers which have updated optimizations and compatibility with certain games and operating system updates.

as i saw the question coming up: i'm having the 14.4 version of CCC, using a Radeon HD 79XX and an AMD FX 9370.
having played about 6h so far, i can report, that on fairly high (not ultra) settings, i only get FPS stutters when driving really fast. the game uses all 8 cores of my cpu, with ~70% beeing a peek value at 3.4GHz.
only real issue i had was with MSAA, which completely ruined the graphics with weird render problems.

They have only just hit the AMD site, they weren't on there earlier.

This driver seems to make a slight difference but not huge. It was nice of AMD to at least make an effort though.

I'm still getting more stable gameplay with a single 280X. Crossfire is alot better in 14,6 compared to 14.4, but not perfect.

In everything I can find though 2 6970s should be able to handle this in at least high details if not ultra. Agh!!!

My 290 can't do Ultra or even High without switching a couple of features off. It's generally fine until you start moving fast in vehicles and then the framerate just takes a huge nose dive.

I am down on med all the way right now, just straight med. It is doing just fine for me though I wish I could do all the eyecandy. Once they fix the XFire issue all will be ok for me. 2 of my cards should do a little more damage than your 1 in most cases. :)
