CAR HANDLING IS A NIGHTMARE :x!!!!

I'm in the beginning of the game and I'm trying to do the 2nd car hijack mission.
I need to acquire a sports car in Parker Square and escape from the police, but IT'S IMPOSSIBLE!

1st thing is that cars in this game are COMPLETELY unresponsive and handle like a gigantic, sliding brick and 2nd thing is that police in this game does everything with their cars you can't do!
I was trying to escape from them and I kept on hitting walls (even while driving slowly, turning sucessfully is a miracle) while they were going full speed and were cutting through corners as smooth as a butter :x!

I was attempting this mission nearly 100 times in about 30mins and no success. It's impossible due to this totally broken car handling :/.

Yeah i know, its definitily made for controller. Plug in a controller and the driving is as easy as 1, 2, 3

EDIT: gotta say they failed big time here, WD started off as racing game and the handling sucks donkey ♥♥♥

Go bumper cam mode. If you can drive GTA then you can drive WDs. I've drove for years with ASWD- just as good with keyboard or gamepad, but stick to bumper cam it's easier than external mode etc. Also in bumper cam view you can activate traffic lights etc as you have full view ahead.

We dont care ow you like to drive bumper cm mode, we care about the damn bad car handling. GTA IV even better

Ya, it's much better with a controller, they designed the driving just for analog sticks and it works well. What I do is just switch to controller when driving and play with keyboard/mouse for the rest of the game. I did this for GTA4 as well.

Guys I'm using a gamepad. Tried keyboard as well, but it's completely ridiculous in this game either way :(!

Game is cool aside of this thing, but it drives me crazy that I can't finish such mission because police has superpowers :/.
I was able to miraculously escape from them twice, but then some kind of yellow, electrified circles popped up on the map and there was so many of them that losing heat percentage was impossible :/.

Even Sleeping Dogs had better vehicles handling (not great, but not bad either).

Handling in GTAIV was bad (cars were like boats) but it was nowhere this bad.

"Weight on them" :x? Driving is completely broken in this game.
I drive a car, barely hitting the gas and getting through a corner without hitting a wall even on a wide road or hitting some object on the walkway is a miracle, and police is doing it no problemo full speed!

But from what I see the graphic for gta 5 sucks on a ps3 unless they revamp the whole thing then coming to pc would be cool

yea I would say the handling is simlar to sleeping dogs. Tho that game had a much better story to it...

Lies, all of you who say you couldn't drive in GTA5 are flat out liars. Sure it was heavy but once you stopped driving like a 13 year old high on ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and pixiesticks and actually braked before turns, took into account center of gravity, tire grip, and all the things that make cars move around, it was fine. I was using WSAD to drive however I liked. And, I suck at video games, so anyone saying they couldn't do it are flat out making things up because they're dumb and think hyperbole makes people care about what they say more.

Yeah the game is ruined by the poor vehicle handling via keyboard and mouse.
It's just so overly sensitive.
You just press the forward key a touch and the car accelerates 100%,touch a key too the right or left and your car veers out of control.
Who ever play tested this should be sent to a pig farm for a year and shovel ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Seriously my 5 year old son could have told developers the handling was rotten.

It's not similar man. Car handling in Sleeping Dogs compared to Watch Dogs, is perfect!
