Watch_Dogs
Watch dogs 32 bit(non steam version)
Greetings.
I just tryed to play watch dogs and noticed i cant.
I noticed that i need a 64 bit version for windows 7....whitch is very frustrating.
My pc can run nearly every game without problems,so i normally dont check the system requerements for games.

Now i payed around 55 euro for watch dogs and cant play it-.-
Can you guys help me pls?
Is there a crack, patch or something like that, that lets me play watch dogs with my 32 bit version?

I dont want to upgrade my system just because of 1-2 games.
I heard it takes hours of work and is very complicated to do,and i need to backup my files or something like that and reinstall everything.....whitch is a lot.
I mean with so much por.n on my computer its hard to save everything,i know you understand me bros.

Or is there a easy way?
I saw that you can download the 64 bit version for free(30 days demo) but im worried that i do something stupid with my computer because im not much of technician.
Would appreciate it if someone would take his time to help me out via private message or here as a comment,i want to play watch dogs today, and not wait a few days or weeks untill i get my money again(i should have it allready but oh ♥♥♥♥ it...)and someone has time to install the 64 bit version for me.

Alot of games will be 64bit only from now on 32bit is outdated the major players in gaming now are 84 bit processors and having 32bit limits the ram needed to run this game to 4gb which also puts major d=ents if games dont move to 64 bit

also i know my windows 7 code works for both 32 bit and 64 bit versions uitts just a matter of a reinstall os you will not regreat it as most games in the future will be 64 bit
how hard is it to do that?
i mean,do i need to reinstall everything on my computer, all my games, pictures and so on?
never did that,so im not sure whats waiting for me^^
and how long does it take?

im downloading the 64 version from chip now.
description says i just have to mount it with virtual box or something like that.
i use windows usb/dvd download tool to burn to usb stick or dvd here is a link
http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/html/pbPage.Help_Win7_usbdvd_dwnTool

as for the other steps doing a reformat is a long process and if done right i will delete all on your computer, a guide is here for you http://www.windows7ultimate.windowsreinstall.com/windows7reinstallguides/index.htm

doing a full format/reistall will delete all the contents and data and information on c: drive

so backup my doc/pictures/movies etc steam folder can also be moved to another harddrive and steam games wont need to be redownload/major installed

as for other programs they need to be reinstalled like antiviruz/word google chrome etc
Oh my god....i was thinking just installing the 64 bit version and restarting the pc would do O.O
Can i just get my pc to a computer store and pay them to upgrade my computer tp 64 bit and do all the save data and add it again thing?

Im not a very patient person^^

Even the time to transfer everything to another harddrive take hours for me,i was thinking theres a solution that lets me play watch dogs today=(

But thanks for trying to help me.
I guess i will just let a computer store do it for me one day,if they do that.
the other thing you could try if u ahve a sper harddrive is discounct your c: drive and use the extra harddrive and install windows on that drive then play watchdogs then swop back to orignal harddrive

Yes.
What system specs do you have? It will likely take more than just upgrading to 64bit to make the game playable. You likely don't meet the ram requirements.
Hmm...have 4 GB ram i think.
But most times i was able to play games nicely on my old computer, even without reaching the system requerements.

I talked with my sisters boyfriend who sold me this computer.
He will do the upgrade for me.
Im also going to buy a new graphic card.
What can i do about the ram problem?
You need 8Gb (minimum requirement according to Ubisoft - I don't know if it's true though. But you need to upgrade to Windows 64-bit in order to make use of it (64-bit is included for free on your Windows installation disc if you have that).

RAM is very easy to upgrade, but the cost will depend on whether you have free DIMM slots for extra memory, or whether your existing memory occupies all slots. If you have free slots, you can simply add an additional 4Gb to a free slot. If all slots are already being used by the 4Gb you might need to abandon existing memory and just buy a full 8Gb stick (or 4Gb pair of sticks - which can be the better option) instead.

You also need to match any new memory to what you have. This free tool (http://www.memorystock.com/memscanner/SysInfo.exe) displays the memory you have installed (how many slots occupied), what the speed is. There is also a text-box of compatibility notes which you can pass on to whoever you choose as vendor.

If your Motherboard will allow (if your RAM slots are not already full) try to at least double the RAM to 8 gig, that will get you by. Let the boyfriend help with that too, if he is up to the task.

Going 64 bit without increasing the 4 gig of RAM is kind of pointless, in my opinion.

Oops ! Guess you must have been posting at the same time I was :)

Just checked it on the shop page.
8GB is recommended but minimum is 6GB.

Maximum Memory: 16 GB | Total Slots: 4 (Currently Memory in 2 Slots)
So its no problem to add more ram, right?

AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 955 Processor 3.20 GHz
Will this be okay?

ram you do need to try and match it up
(http://www.memorystock.com/memscanner/SysInfo.exe) is very good for helping with that

the processor is getting a little old now but sould be fine playing watch dogs and other stuff but no problems handling 64bit and more ram though

and a new grpahic card with your system there is no need to go over the top with it i would sujest a amd 270x or if u can aford to a 280x but if u prefer nvidia graphic cards a 760ti or a gtx 770 i have a 770 myself and handles everything i have thrown at it game wise:)
Okay.
My graphic card isnt that bad i think, but it just cant handle direct 11 =/

Thanks for your answers guys,i will upgrade my pc soon^^
