Game doesn't want me to play multiplayer
As the title says it doesn't allow me to play MP.It says "servers are unavailable" although game and Ubi connect program both run fine without any errors, bugs and disconnects.Game just doesn't want me to join MP for some weird reason,is there any simple fix for this ♥♥♥♥? Because I really (I mean really) want the suppressed Vector which is f*cking locked in this stupid MP mode

There's no fix to this. The games servers were pulled over a year ago due to security concerns. You can't connect to multiplayer at all. I got run around by support for over a month until they finally told me that. It's disgusting that this hasn't been mentioned at all on the Watch Dogs steam page letting potential buyers know of this problem.

Sadly there seems to be no way of getting it since multiplayer doesn't work. Support just told me a couple of days ago that there's no ETA with regards to fixing the problem. No ETA means they won't fix it and to be honest, they don't care either. They only care about Watch Dogs Legion currently.

Why would a multi billion dollar company fix it anyway since the average player count is roughly 500-1000 people? Fixing that requires time (which they don't want to use on an old game,) and money (which they don't want to spend at all.) I was led to believe that multiplayer was still up and running, since their own website has a server status for Watch Dogs that says multiplayer is currently working.

I opened a ticket with support back in early November thinking that maybe they might be able to solve the problem. I sent a bunch of screenshots and files across, like my forwarded ports, my msinfo file, my IP address, even a traceroute to the Ubisoft support website. Then after a long month of going back and fourth, they just told me that the servers didn't work.

They could have told me right from the very beginning, but they didn't. It was a waste of my time honestly. All I can say is don't go to support, they'll just ask you the same things they asked me.
Very sad story...Well at least the game works so I don't feel much scammed.Only a bit of disappointment that I can't get that damn SMG.Agree that Ubisoft should've written on the steam page that MP is broken and doesn't work.Tahts kind of spit in the face of people whoa re new to the game

And yet they've known about it for 2 or more years now. They clearly don't care and never wanted to fix the problem in the first place.

I am no longer willing to trust UBISOFT.

I am no longer going to ask UBISOFT why I cannot connect to the server.

They just want to waste my time and want me to stop asking.

They always ask me to close the case.

They always want me to trust them to send a letter to the European headquarters.

Then they would never respond to me.

It really is ironic funnily enough. Honestly though, I know for a fact that it wasn't security issues. Those sorts of things can be fixed in a couple of weeks depending on how bad it is. You don't pull the servers 2.5 years ago and never turn them back on again.

It was because someone in accounting realised that there weren't many people playing online anymore, and that they were losing money keeping the servers on. Because of that, Ubisoft decided that there was no reason to have the servers on. They should have at least put a note on Steam or put an announcement out when they were going to permanently turn the servers off. In my opinion, you don't just turn the servers off and not tell your players. It's disgusting honestly.

Biggest bullcrap ever, the multiplayer is still working and the servers were never "pulled over dude to security concerns", whoever told you this should be fired for sure

Multiplayer is still working fine as i said, the real problem is complete edition which is simply broken, if you buy complete edition there's a big chance multiplayer will NOT WORK because ubisoft screwed something up and it doesn't register you as someone being able to go online, they can however fix this now, after few users who investigated this by going deep in the game code discovered a fix and reported it in a ticket

Essentially you're missing access to multiplayer for this game on your ubisoft connect account, and ubi support can fix it if you ask them

Sucks I won't be able to get the silenced vector. Should've given us an option to buy it from the weapon store at least.

Yep exactly. It was very dumb decision to lock some weapons as MP rewards.I don't see any sense in this

In a different thread someone else said support said the same thing to them. I don't understand why support never mentioned this to me while I spoke to them for a whole month. It really shows how incompetent they are. They have clearly known about this problem for a very long time and have done nothing at all in letting customers know.

If it's simply an activation problem, then maybe I might reopen the ticket again. Perhaps they might waste my time again like they did last time, and say that it can't be fixed.
