It would have been better if they saved every 10 levels or so
The only truly annoying digital trip that doesn't even need explaining is Psychedelic. Madness doesn't even take that long to complete if you just finish the tasks fast enough.
Also how dare you even type that. WD2 is complete ass in terms of atmosphere and story considering the subject the game is about which the first one fit perfectly, furthermore comes nowhere near the multiplayer experience it had.
How about you learn patience and git gud before you talk smack about the magnum opus of this franchise.
And lest we forget, WD1 forces you to be lethal, wherelse WD2 gives you the option to be non lethal
How about you learn patience and git gud befor you talk smack about the magnum opus of this franchise
All the digital trips were incredibly easy and flexible to win except Psychedelic which I confirmed had fixed angles and hypersensitive controls that made it insanely tedious to beat on mouse & keyboard.
What are you even saying- "stealth weaponry" being locked? Doing stealth is literally the opening part of the game, furthermore the silenced Spec Ops 1911 is acquired immediately without requiring to buy it or any type of mission.
I've played both two games and unless you're blind, taking some time to compare the maps with the invade gamemode in mind you'd see how the first one's map is pretty much designed for multiplayer encounters. The streets are way denser with cover everywhere, parked cars right to the render distance and a way higher concentrate of NPCs in general. This is seen way less in 2nd and I don't even wanna discuss Legion.
I like how you mentioned the choice of being non-lethal like that even matters, the story was not supposed to be about all pacifism and peace and the gritty vibe it held was a perfect fit. Just because you can't choose certain personal preferred actions doesn't make a game better, It's meant for entertainment not self insert. Meanwhile the games did get more technical and there were more choices given to the player when playing, the fun level, immersion and atmosphere dropped down to mediocre at best. I'd also like to add most of the new features in WD2 were completely pointless and added little to no expanse on stuff that could already be done.
Also pulling a literal "No u" at the end is kinda cringe, thought you were quirky didn't you.
I find it funny how you throw what I said back at me when you came back after couple hours and cried even more from what I'm assuming more L's on Madness, If you truly still haven't beat it yet I can't help but feel sorry for you and would like to apologise and take back what I said in the case of you having any sort of mental disabilities.
Firstly, I cant comment on multiplayer, because WD1's multiplayer is down for weeks. WD2's multiplayer was way better and more complete, such as coop missions. And invasion is actually a challenge. Like I once had to do an invasion in the middle of a mountain with no cover. I posed as a parked car and the guy never caught on because I was using a normal NPC car.
Perharps I misspoke. Stealth exists, but Its lethal only. Non-lethal stealth was implemented, but is locked behind alone. The game forces you to go lethal, completely ignoring that sometimes, Its better to non-lethal.
The story was about aiden's redemption in a way. He is starting to realise how death can affect one's life and thus, my aiden reserves lethal weapons only for very specific crimes, such as firing onto a crowd of civilians
WD2 is meant to be more loose, because the game is just a bunch of friends hanging out.
And the gameplay features of WD2 is pointless? Seriously? We had game changing stuff like more hacks and tools like drones.
Psychedelic is decent, unless you want to have max stars.
Also, I figured that a man outta take what he can dishes. Apparently, not.
Madness is an impossible digital trip. End of story.
The implication you're giving here is that you lack experience with the multiplayer in WD1 to give a proper response, though not only did you actually give supposedly CERTAIN sounding input before you replied, but you did it right after mentioning it too. Don't you find that kinda contradicting.
WD2 invades are literally copy-paste of WD1 just worse map, flying cameras (drones) and complete lack of density anywhere. It came down to the point where most players I invaded gave up on the commitment of even trying for whatever reason. (though I haven't done online since the first month it launched)
I'm honestly confused to what your point is regarding the lethal thing, because every melee takedown is considered non-lethal in-game since missions that require killing is straight up shooting- not a melee takedown. Do you know what lethal actually means? I can't imagine Aiden straight up killing every person he uses the baton on to be quite frank.
I can't wrap my head around you calling the trip impossible when It's literally one of the easiest ones, hell even Alone took more time and effort. Did you even try more than twice before throwing a hissy fit?
1. Still condenscending
2. M&K
3. Dude, firstly, servers are completely down. Secondly, I know abit about WD1's multiplayer, It was super hyped back in the day. From what I know, WD1's method can be extremely infuriating for those that are being hacked. So Imo, the fact that WD2 introduced better profling (which should be a thing because we have so many cameras now) is a good thing. It seems like you never even touched WD2 and complained Its bad from the get go.
4. While you could take down manually, the lack of a stun gun really gimps non lethal. Also, distractions arent that good as in wd2 so yeah. You are just confused
5. Alone is literally one of the easiest lmao. How did you even manage to make It hard?
I never even said Alone was hard, I simply implied it took more time and effort than Madness did. As in more stuff required to finish before you can fully complete it, get it?
I'm losing braincells trying to convince you It's really not that difficult, your head seems so far up your own rear end you can't seem to swallow your pride and admit you just suck at driving. Or whatever is causing you to deem this breeze of a Digital Trip as "impossible".
Furthermore you're completely missing my points, picking out whatever agitates you the most or you feel you can prove wrong. It's utterly pathetic to read and I'm ashamed of myself of expecting more from someone crying on forums about not being able to beat a videogame sidequest- and easy one at that.
A truly honest question, you sure you aren't on the spectrum?
And for the record, Ive spent more time attempting madness than the entirety of alone
You just gloss over my points and whine about how Im apparently mentally ill
Sod off and eat a ♥♥♥♥
Can't be any worse than the hacking and sticky cover system.
Play WD2, Its better
