Questions about attributes
Where does archer gets his damage? Is accuracy enough or do I need might also?

As paladin do I need to focus all of theese: might, personality, endurance and accuracy?

How important is speed and accuracy for cleric and mage?

Really appreciate help

You can't boost ranged damage. It is only affected by your bow. Once everyone has the best bows, they will all deal the same damage. Accuracy only boosts your chance to hit (with both melee and ranged).
"Archer" is misleading, everyone is as good with bows as an Archer. Archer is simply the Knight+Mage hybrid class, meaning he can learn all weapons and Mail armor as well as elemental magic (but has less HP/MP than a Knight/Mage).

Yes, as a paladin you need all of these. Note that Personality only gives you more MP, your efficiency with spells comes only from your magic skills.
Every stat has disminishing returns. At the begining you'll get 5 MP for 1 or 2 points, but soon you'll need like 25 points for 5 MP. Same goes for might. Give all your chars around 50 or 70 of all stats, instead of 200 of one stat on each.

Speed and Accuracy for Cleric and Mage? Well it depends if you want your melees to be very strong and your casters weak, or have everyone balanced.
Clerics use maces, which is not very good. Mages however can master daggers, which is excellent. So I suggest you at least split your accuracy between melees and Mages, if not your Cleric.

Oh thats great thanks for a goodd reply :)

I have played like 1 hour into the game now and it really feels like it takes alot of time before my characters can attack again. Is that normal? feels like I gotta run around half the fight just waiting for them too be able to do something again.

Speed is the only factor too this right?

One more question, how do I increase my attributes? I only seem to get skill points when I level up im so noob here hehe
Flo Feb 11, 2014 @ 3:10pm
Yes, speed reduces recovery time. I don't know if it speeds up the recovery after using spells, though.
There is also the "of recovery" enchantement on items. But it is bugged and doesn't work, unless you are using the Grayface patch. It boosts recovery by 10%.
Most weapon skills also reduce recovery times as they level up.

You should always fight in turn-based mode (press enter). In this mode everyone attacks one after the other, so it's much faster, no need to wait for recovery.

Oh wow had no idea about the enter thing for turn based mode. That really made things alot easier for me.

How do I skill up my attribute points?
Flo Feb 11, 2014 @ 3:28pm
By attributes you mean skill points? Attributes are your main stats (Might, etc).
Yes, you only get skill points when leveling up. You'll get more points as you level up (at lvl50 you get 10 points per level).
You can also use Magic Horshoes, it gives +2 skill points. You usually find Horseshoes near stables, but there are only a few so don't count on it too much. Give them to your Mage, as they need a lot of skill points to master all magic schools.

To use your skill points, just open a character's skill page and click a skill. It costs 1 more point for every level so careful, it adds up quickly.

Make sure you skill up on each character: one weapon skill, bow skill, one armor skill.
Mage learn Identify
Cleric learn Merchant
Archer learn Disarm Trap and Perception
Warrior lean Repair Item

You need a to be level 4 in a skill to become Expert, so I suggest you get to lvl4 all those skills I mentioned above before leveling any skill higher.

As for attributes (Might, etc): you get them from items, mostly. You can get some from fountains all over the world (remember to save before drinking at a fountain, a lot of them are traps). You can also pray at shrines (one in each zone). If it's the right month, you'll get +5 at one attribute for your whole team.
You also get attributes from barrels of liquid everywhere. +1 to the person who drinks it.
Red = Might
Orange = Intellect
Blue = Personality
Green = Endurance
Yellow = Accuracy
Purple = Speed
White = Luck

can all different classes get too master in all of thoose misc skills like identify, merchant, disarm, repair etc..... because I gave identity to my knight and thought it was best too let mage get up on the magic skills prely faster.

Oh so its not possible to level up your attributes except for using items and the barrels?
Thanks alot for all the help starting too enjoy it alot more after your help hehe.

Any tip for poison? I keep going into the temple of baa but I gotta go out and use the temple too cure always since if i rest i barely recover anything and its starting to get really expensive

Yes, everyone can master any skill as long as they can learn it. I said mage for Identify because to master it you need 30 intellect. It doesn't matter much, you can always equip a few +intel items on your knight to master it and remove them after.

Buy the Cure Poison spell (Body magic) from the guild of the Self in New Sorpigal. I recommend you get expert Body immediately (the expert teacher is in New Sorpigal), since it's also the magic of healing and you'll be using it a lot.
You might want to also buy the Cure Wounds spell (stronger heal)

If the spells you want aren't avalaible for sale, the shops reset every 2 days.

Would you reccomend leveling up bow on my cleric and sorcerer also? I keep running out of mana early since i have so many buffs :/

Really appreciate all the help, makes the game so much more fun :D

Absolutely, master bow on everyone is the most important skill of all. You can become Expert in Castle Ironfist pretty quick.
greggydooki Feb 12, 2014 @ 6:43pm
The bow is good at the begining of the game for shooting the weak horde on the land for xp, but later in the game its worthless. You need to use powerful spells to kill dragons, hydras and titons. Bows do nothing much to them. A cleric and a sorcerer with dark magic master skill is crucial to killing tough opponents like the alien devil gang and there hive Queen.

That's a tad misleading because the master bow will do 2x that damage because they shoot 2 arrows

It has been months, you may know this by now. You can also mix and drink Black Potions to help raise your attributes. They increase one attribute by 15 but take 5 away from another. There is also a limit to how many each character can drink per attribute.

Google "black potions m&m 6" and you can find the list of how to make each one or try and find out for yourself. All potion receipes will appear in your journal as you figure them out.

Just dont ever mix a black potion with a yellow one.

And choose your companions carefully. If you know you're going to get a scholar, for example, then there'll be no need to waste a skill choice on identify during character creation.
